I got these two presents from Sierra. The saw is going to be used a ton in a few months and the drill bits are the best there are. Most people don't care too much about drill bits, but I do. =-) It was a good Birthday. And in case you were wondering, 25 feels like 24. Oh, and I got new socks too. (I needed them).

artists

My acrylic painting
Tin foil/washer/wire masterpiece!!! Sweet name huh?

So I've been getting all artsy and crafty lately knowing we're moving somewhere that we can paint and stuff. I can't sleep at night because of all the excitement. So, I bought a canvas for $3 at goodwill and painted away. I'm really happy with it and it will match our future bedroom!! Bryce decided he wanted to get all artisty too, so he painted too, it was pretty cute to watch!! I'll post his once we can get a good picture, it's too reflective!! :) OH and the silvery one, yeah I super glued aluminum foil on and got my fingers stuck together 3 times! I just don't learn. Good thing Bryce was there to help me polish remove it off! Oh and once it got stuck on just one finger I figured that finger was good to rub in on with!!! :) NOT such a good idea!
oh and I should get my test results back monday or Tuesday! oh and by the way HSG's SUCK!

This is Gross

So the other day at work (this is Bryce) I drove by the pond and noticed that the pelicans had returned for the summer. They're good to have around because they scare the geese away and geese poop a lot. Anyway. Hole 11 is a par 3 that is pretty much nothing but a tee box a pond and a green. Some of the crew members were working next to the pond and a pelican came up onto the grass and threw up. that's not the gross part. So, unfortunately for those workers, the puke needed to be moved so that a rich prick golfer wouldn't step in it or whatever. So the guys walked up to it and noticed that one of the things that the pelican had eaten was a salamander. they're pretty cool, but not when they're half digested. So one of the guys says to another guy "hey, I'll give you $100 if you eat that salamanders head." Yeah, Ozzy Osbourne style. Then another worker said "I'll match it." So $200 to bite off, crew and swallow the head of an already partly digested salamander that a pelican threw up. You'll never guess what happened next. The dude picked up the salamander by the tail, bit his head off and started to chew it up. It wasn't long before they had to clen up 2 piles of vomit from #11. And people wonder why things like the swine flu pop up every year.

test results

So, the first blood test came back fine. Everything was normal....testosterone, progesterone, and thyroid...good. So I got my blood drawn again Friday. I should get those results back soon, but I'm more nervous about that HSG results. I get the HSG done Thursday to see if there's any scarring or anything blocking my tubes. that one scares me a little just because it would make the most sense since I've had a PID (no, not from an STD :) ) and that often times causes scar tissue. If everything comes back good it's Bryce's turn. I hope it's something simple or maybe nothing at all and it's just not our time to have kids yet. who knows. We'll see. I'll keep you all updated.
On another note...man church has been boring lately, it sure is making me anxious to move. I just wanna move to texas!!!!! Oh and it's not supposed to stop raining for like 3 more weeks, so you know that motorcycle we got so i could have the car??? yeah, not exactly happening in the rain. Looks like i'm stuck wiht the bike and walking until this weather clears up...another reason to be excited for texas!! :)

recent events

This is called the siamese twins...Looks like and H for hannibal to me. Bryce said "H for hannibal and H for the last letter in Smith" when we were there. What a dork.
There were doves up top and their cooing echoed in here...it was cool

We hiked up and over a mountain....Mom didn't want to, but she made if just fine! :) way to go mom! I knew you could do it.

The top of our hike
The little skinny ones on the right are our favorite...the other side is where Bryce and I are in them...beautiful

well my mom came and visited us May 18th-22nd and it was so nice having her here. We made a quilt for bryce with all of his jersies from his mission, watched american idol, went swimming, played racquetball, layed out, and went to garden of the Gods. It was beautiful. Here are some pictures. Oh, and we played some rockband, it was fun watching my Mom play! :)

I went and got my blood stolen last Thursday...it was nice having my mom there to hold my hand, i hate getting my blood drawn...I don't like the thought of a needle in my vain and they made me squeeze this thing so it would squirt out faster...nice visual hugh? My arm still hurts!! Theyr'e going to test my hormones and hopefully find out why i'm still not prego. I have to get it taken again 3 days after I start, so hopefully I don't....that's my new reason for wanting to be prego....I won't have to get it drawn again. Then day 7 of my cycle I have to go get an HSG done...it's where tehy put dye in your uterus and see if it gets up to the tubes and stuff. PRetty cool huh? Then if all else fails we'll fork out the big bucks and get Bryce tested. Man this is lame. Well that's about it. hope all is well for everyone!

update

well we're getting antsy to move....3 more months! we can't wait. I've decided i'm going to build a headboard and 2 nightstands that I saw on HGTV when we get there. i'm pretty excited. Well...other than that we're just working and golfing every Thursday. i'm going to the doctor Thursday to check what's wrong with me and why I'm not getting prego....I'm nervous, but excited to get on something that will help. Oh and I sent my resume into all these places in College Station and wrote them letting them know I'll be there August 16th and today I got a calal baack from one of them saying he was very impressed with my resume and would love to have me work for him....sweet huh? So if I absolutely can't stand waiting any longer it's nice knowing i could move there and have a job!! :) still no internet, but I'll try to keep you updated!!!
