After a few days in portland, I surprised my mom in Redding. I knocked on the door, she answered and was SO excited....it was great. The next day Bryce came to Redding on a Greyhound....he left at 10:00 p.m and got to Redding at 7:00 a.m. While in Redding we went mini-golfing, aqua golfing, Frisbee golfing, and real golfing. LOTS OF GOLFING!! It was a lot of fun. We went to dinner with my parents, went shopping, visited people. It was great. Bryce said it wasn't relaxing at all becuase his idea of being relaxed is doing nothing so I had an idea. We floated down the Sacramento River....but still not relaxing enough for Bryce. Bryce turned into a tomato in the wonderful 85 degree weather! It was beautiful there and Bryce is a beautiful shade of Red. Bryce also went on a motorcycle ride with my Dad and 2 buddies. He did really good for not going for 6 years, but took a couple hard falls. We had a really good time, but it's nice to be home again. One of the reasons we went to Redding is because 3 months ago our car was totaled and so my Dad told us we could have the old car (99 Benz) because he was getting my mom a new car for their anniversary. My mom, didn't know this, hence the surprise! :) It was a huge blessing. We love it, but man it's hard not to speed in it! the tank's huge. $70 to fill up, but we can get from RENO to REXBURG on one tank! Crazy hugh? Life is good. I'm going to start the twilight book today....I'm pretty excited. Oh and I got a 3.75 GPA for my last semester and now I'm officially a college graduate! THANK GOODNESS! I Don't think I would have been able to take one more semester.

3 days in Portland
So for the last 9 days, Bryce and I were on vacation. First we drove up with 4 of our friends in a brand new Dodge Caravan (rental) to Portland Oregon so that Bryce and his 2 friends from sociology could present at a conference. We had a blast there. We went to Canon Beach and went to a cool Mongolian Grill. It was tasty. We also did lots of shopping and not so much sleeping. It was really fun to see his Mom and Ron. It's always something we look forward to.
Our Vacation
My sister Kyra and her 2 adorable kids came up for a few days and stayed with us. It was a blast. We went to the temple, played on the long board in the parking lot, threw snowballs, and just enjoyed our time together. It was great. We didn't see much of conference, but it was worth it. I always miss my sister here in Rexburg. She used to live here so I kind of got used to having her around, but now she's way down in SoCal. I always look forward to the times I get to see her.

my final art piece
Here's my finished water color for my final in my art class....I love lillies, so I thought I'd paint some. I learned that water colors are definitely not my favorite medium to use. They are difficult! My goodness! I'm just glad I'm done...I still have to do a pencil drawing, it's due in a week from today, but I just really don't want to do it!! Good ole' procrastination. We'll see what happens.
our Tattoos
So, have you ever gotten so bored in church that you didn't know what to do other than draw on your spouse? It happens all too often for us. Here are our tattoos. Pretty cool hugh? We're thinking of getting them permenant....what do you think? :) Next week Bryce said I could do one covering his whole back!!! I'm pretty excited...we're going to do it with hi-lighter and then get a black light to see it....don't worry, I'll post some pictures (if they're appropriate).
Easter
Punk Rocker Hair!
Well, yesterday I got bored with the all over, same color hair. I figured, HECK I'M A HAIRSTYLIST and my hair is BORING, so let's change it! So I did. I had Julie ( a girl I work by) do the hi-lights and then I had Bryce put Red over 1/2 of the hi lights so I'd have a little of each in my brown hair! I used the red that a girl at the beauty store recommended and knew she had a lot of experience with hair (she's like 50) so I trusted her. Well....I told her a deep dark vibrant red, and this is what happened. Bryce calls me his little punk rocker. It's kinda fun, but at 12:30 I'm going to have Julie put a darker red over the bright hot pink! Then maybe I won't get so many funny looks at BYU-I. :)
