Random

Macie Loves her baths! She has just started turning her head and opening her mouth to drink some water. Once she gets some in her mouth she turns her head back up and repeats this over and over....it's pretty cute. It scared me at first, but I think she thinks it's cool that one of her eyes goes under water. :)

Lately Macie has been falling asleep on Dad. It's so cute. We have multiple pictures of this, but this is my favorite one. :)

Macie LOVES our cats....and she's pretty good with them. They're pretty good with her too as long as she's not screaming.

How white trash can we get? :) This is something you couldn't do and get away with anywhere else but a trailer park. :) I had to go to work in about an hour and couldn't get my hair wet, so VOILA!! Bryce thought it was ridiculous and I think Macie did too! :)

More Macie

Macie is getting so big. She rolled over for her first time about 2 weeks ago. She is funny...I will lay her on her tummy and she'll try really hard for like 5-10 minutes...sometimes she'll get it and sometimes she'll just get really frustrated and scream...not like an ongoing scream...just a frustrated shout. It's hilarious! She weighs about 14 lbs now and is SO strong. She can stand up, as long as she's holding our hands, for like 5 minutes straight and then she collapses to her bum. :) She talks a lot and in the morning she is all smiles. I love spending the morning with her. She talks with me and smiles and giggles for the first 20 minutes of each day and it's my favorite time. I just wish it weren't at 7:30! :) She still doesn't sleep through the night, but usually only gets up around 3:00 a.m. and then again around 6:00 a.m. We're getting used to it.

Bryce works from 8-3 Mon-Fri and I work from 4-7 so we take turns watching Macie. It's hard not seeing each other much, but it's working out well financially and I enjoy my 3 hour break away. I need that much although I do miss her while I'm away. I get sad when I get home and she's asleep....I just wanna wake her up and cuddle with her.

we got a pool the other day and I LOVE it. We go swimming almost every day and afterwards Macie is so tired she falls right to sleep. The other day we put her in a bouncer outside while we continued swimming and she just slept and slept. It was nice having some time with Bryce.

Well...that's about it....we're having a BBQ for the 4th of July and I made her a cute little 4th of July skirt/flower outfit that I can't wait to get pictures of her it....so cute! I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!

Utah Trip

we went to Utah for my brother in laws wedding. It was a lot of fun. We spent a week in a nice resort in Midway. It was beautiful and so much fun hanging out with all of the in-laws. Traveling with a baby was quite the experience. They lost our car seat at the airport, but luckily it was found and made it to Salt Lake when we needed it. Macie did great on the plane and I had to be brave and breast feed on the plane and at the airport in a restaurant. I'm getting pretty good at using the Hooter Hider! :)

Bryce threw up the day of the wedding/blessing. He actually threw up in the Salt lake temple, but luckily he made it to a garbage can. It was hard to see him throw up....I just cried. Man am I pathetic!! :) He made it through Macie's blessing, but just barely. Not quite how I imagined it, but it was nice. A lot of my in-laws were there. It meant a lot to us.

Macie is getting so big! She's been hurting a lot lately and we assumed it was colic, but I brought her to the doctors and they said it might be reflux. She had to get a cathader put in to get a urine sample and while they were holding her legs up to get the cathader in, she pooped all over the nurses (twice). It was awesome! It squirt like 4 feet! :) The nurse said it was the first time in 21 years that that had happened. GO MACIE!! :) They found out she has a Urinary Tract Infection on top of whatever else she might have. So they gave her 2 shots in her thighs of an antibiotic and after that she was so happy. She had to go back today to get 2 more shots and once again she's happy. I love seeing her happy and feeling good. Hopefully we'll be able to catch up on our sleep now. :)

Bryce and I are both working and taking turns watching Macie. It's nice to be back at work, but i really miss my little girl while I'm gone. I am with her alone from 7:00 a.m. till' around 3 or 4 while Bryce is at work and it's pretty rough when she's hurting and fussy all day so hopefully the meds she was prescribed do the trick.

Kyra's visit

Kyra came and visited us last week. It was so nice having her. It was my Parent's Mother's Day present to both of us. It's always hard when company leaves and it's back to just Bryce and I watching little Macie...it's quite exhausting lately. She still has her days and nights mixed up which makes for a LOOONNNNGGG night! There sure are some good info-mercials at all hours of the night though. :)

My sister took these pictures of Macie and I...I love them. She's getting so big. She is quite the eater. She's already 12 lbs....she's gained a pound a week! She's got so much personality....I love it. She smiles lots and is a really happy baby. We are lucky to have her.
