job interviews

So....I have 2 job interviews today...1 I already had....tell me what you think. They said i could work there, if i wanted....It was at classic cuts. The boss seemed nice enough, but I'd have to work every other Sunday (after sacrament) and he'd need me at nights....problem cuz the only time Bryce and I have together are nights. There are benefits....insurance...$500 just handed to you, just for working there, 12$ an hour for the first 3 weeks and then $9 an hour after that or 50% commission, whatever is more. So it's good minus the Sundays and nights thingy. It's close too...only like 5 blocks away. I've applied at like 10 places. The interview i have at 2:00 today is at beauty brands. It's like 1 mile away and I could take a bus there....sweet hugh? On the phone they seemed really nice and it looks like I'd only HAVE to work 1 night a week. It's commission, not sure how much yet. i'll update you as soon as I know.
So funny story. I was just applying at EVERY salon close and one was called knockouts....ever heard of it? I hope not. It's pathetic. They call it "hooterfied hairstylist." Can you believe it? girls dressed in tight shirts and short shorts and boxing clothes. LAME! I applied before i knew what it was and THEN I looked up their website...www.knockouts.net....disgusting! I can't believe it. They called me back and wanted me to work there, I turned them down REAL FAST! man oh man...what is the world coming to? :) lol. Well wish me luck!

our 2 year anniversary!!

So....we've been married 2 years as of August 26th, 2008! can you believe that? I can't....it gets better every day. I woke up bright and early to make Bryce a nice breakfast and Bryce surprised me with these beautiful crazy colored daisies and we went out to dinner at Pita Pit....we love that place. It was great. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband who takes care of me and loves me through all my moods. We have so much fun together. I'm so glad I'm married to my best friend!

Before we moved we had some last time stops we had to make...this one was to Arby's...where we had our first date...we got what we always get...2 medium curly fries, 2 Arby melts, and a medium coke! This is even the same place we sat on our first date...and the only place we've EVER sat at arby's! Luckily, we have one here in CO!

Our New Home!!

Well, we made it. I Drove the 17' Uhaul and left a 4 a.m....getting me here at 4:00 Tuesday. 2 men from the ward helped me move everything in.....it was a LONG day. Bryce took his GRE test and scored 1100....anything over 1000 is pretty good. He took the car and after his test in Pocatello he drove the long drag through Wyoming and met me at our new place at 1:00 a.m....Wednesday. We're really happy here. We have an indoor and outdoor pool, a racquetball court, tennis court, sauna, jacuzzi...it's wonderful. Bryce started his new job at Colorado Golf Club on Thursday....he loves it. we went out for dinner with one of his co-workers (Brian) and his girlfriend (erica) and had a lot of fun. We're definitely not in Rexburg anymore. I've never heard anyone say swear words so much and so loud in my life.
So...story time.....on Thursday Bryce woke up at 6:00 so he could leave at 6:30 for his first day of work. It's about a 20 minute drive and he's supposed to be there by 7:00. So, after he says good bye and I hear the door close i dose back into sleep and all of a sudden he's back....the car won't start. This happened recently, but started after awhile, so we just kept trying. Eventually the engine wouldn't even turn over. So, we had a guy from the ward come and jump us, but still nothing. Right before we were going to get it towed, we called road side assistance from mercedes benz. You get it for free for the life of you car.....something that'll be great to know! A guy came (Juan) and was amazing. He gave us a battery.....normally they cost 140$ and taught us all sorts of cool tricks about our car that we didn't even know about. He was great. I was almost in tears. We were so nervous because moving isn't cheap and we didn't know how we were going to afford to get it fixed...but thankfully it was just the battery! now the crazy part....guess how much we paid in tithing last time????? $140...EXACTLY The same ammount a new battery is. It's amazing how God works. I love having testimony builders!!
Well I'm going job hunting today...wish me luck. And here is a video of our new home...we LOVE IT!!!!

the WEDDINGS!!

so, sorry it's been forever! I was gone in california for 10 days without Bryce for my brothers wedding. It was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better sister in law. She's great! Then...Bryce drove up and met me there. We went jet skiing on the stand ups, played mini golf (OF COURSE) played real golf at Gold hills with my dad and Brandon, all sorts of good stuff. My mom just never ceases to amaze me....she biked 540 miles in 6 days and camped each night of those 6 days in a tent!!! She's incredible. It's pretty pathetic that my mom's more in shape than me...but that's what happens when you have super woman as your mom! My dad drove 16 hours to Colorado for a dirt bike ride. You know what i love about my parents? i don't think they're ever going to grow up. My dad still does flips and turns on the knee board and does crazy 800 mile dirt bike rides and my mom's still doing triathlons and crazy stuff like that! I LOVE IT!
Anyways...back to our trip...it was great. Breakfast with my sister and dad, dying my sisters hair...man that took forever, but it was fun spending that time with her, going to Changs in portland, (we went there for Melia's wedding)...and shopping without taxes. It was great. I loved spending time with our families. I love how much I fit in with Bryce's family....we always have so much fun together. Melia and Devin are so cute!!! I'm so happy for them. It was fun seeing how much love he had in his eyes when he looked at Melia....so cute.
Bryce's last day of work was Friday...man are we happy he's done there...it'll be nice for him to have a good job that PAYS him on time and where he's treated right. We can't wait to move....2 more days. WE've been cleaning and packing like crazy. I'm so excited to get out of here that I was pretty much all packed up a week ago! our little apt. looks so sad...i'm goign to miss it just cuz it's our first place! :( So many memories! Well....i better go help Bryce clean. We have a lot more to do. Tomorrow we're packing ALL of our stuff in a Uhaul.....so tonight's the last night we have to live in a house wiht STUFF in it! :) Weird.

so on our way to Portland there was a fire so we got stuck in traffic for 1 hour and 40 minutes and only moved 8 miles in that time...we got bored and took pics....the sunset was beautiful!

It's official!!

Well Bryce Just called and we're moving to a beautiful place. I am so excited! bryce will be the irrigation tech at the local Country Club! We're excited. We get back from our vacation on the 18th of August and we leave on the 2nd of September....so the last 2 weeks in Rexburg are going to be nuts getting all my appointments done and moving and finding a new apartment and all that Jazz. And now i have to find another job! :( But we're excited to get away from Rexburg....we're just SOOOOO BORED!! oh and Bryce gets here in 2 days....and thank goodness for that cuz i'm going CRAZY without him!!

I miss Bryce!

Well I'm in California...it's day 5 day without Bryce and I'm going crazy. It's been fun seeing my family for Trevor's Wedding, but it's just not the same without my honey. until today we've had 10 people staying with us...now we're down to 4. It's been kinda crazy, but tomorrow those 4 are leavin so it'll be back to normal!! I'm kinda excited to relax by the Wilson's pool and get a sweet sun tan! The Oliver's were here until this morning. I was sharing my room/bed with Romy the mother of my 3 adopted sisters (stephanie, samantha and Megan)..it was fun. I talked with Bryce everynight as she TRIED to go to sleep. I'm not the best roommate!! I'm excited to have my Hubby occupying my bed again...even though he doesn't smell as good as Romy!! :) lol. Well last night me and the girls (stephanie and Samantha) were up until 12:30 playing dress up and taking sweet pictures....it was fun. this computers being funny but I'll try to attach them....Bryce...if you're reading this I LOVE THE CRAP OUT OF YOU...and i can't wait to see you!! I love you babe!
